Mark Hannigan, CFP®

Managing Partner & Financial Advisor

Mark offers holistic, comprehensive advisory services to help clients prioritize and achieve their goals. Through a client-centered financial planning process, Mark provides his clients with individualized analysis and recommendations aimed at providing a roadmap specific to each client’s financial situation with the goal of realizing their financial objectives.

By helping clients to make smart investment and financial decisions, Mark aims to develop professional relationships based on uncompromising integrity, trust and personalized service. Mark believes that it is particularly important to present relevant financial alternatives in order to develop a truly cohesive plan—one that is designed to achieve lifelong financial goals.

Prior to Gateway Wealth Management, Mark worked as a financial advisor at Allied Wealth Partners, one of the oldest and largest financial planning firms in the metropolitan area.  Before joining Allied Wealth Partners, Mark worked on the credit trading desk at Credit Agricole.  His previous experience includes positions with Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers. Mark holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 securities registrations, as well as Life and Health insurance licenses. He graduated from Middlebury College with a B.A. in Political Science and earned an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business

Outside of work Mark enjoys traveling, golf and swimming, as well as cheering for NY sports teams. Mark and his wife Caroline live in New Canaan, CT with their children Colin, Fiona and Annabelle

Mike began his career over 40 years ago providing comprehensive financial planning services to his clients. Mike has helped numerous clients to achieve financial independence and clarity. He built his practice by establishing long lasting relationships based on mutual trust and commitment.  Mike’s clientele had grown to include many high net worth individuals and their families before transitioning to a support role.

For many years, Mike qualified for various clubs based on his production including the Million Dollar Round Table.*

Mike and his wife, Lorraine, have 3 children and 8 grandchildren. Mike and Lorraine met at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Mike and Lorraine have a primary residence in Sarasota, Florida and spend summers at their home in South Harwich, MA.
